Sloan Canyon NCA Public Lands Day

Celebrate National Public Lands Day this year by volunteering at Sloan Canyon NCA on Saturday, September 24th 9am-12pm.

We’re partnering with Bureau of Land Management and the Southern Nevada Agency Partnership to transform an old dirt parking area into a picnic space, the first activity in the eventual transformation of the trailhead into a permanent Visitor Contact Station! Volunteers can assist with installing posts around the picnic space, enhancing the trail leading from the parking area to this picnic space, or doing some area cleanup. This activity is for the whole family, but people under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
