Outdoor Recreation Leaders Program Tier 2 Workshop – Backpacking Basics

This workshop is designed for trip leaders who are interested in starting to lead backpacking trips. We will be car camping (not backpacking), but all activities will focus on gear, trip planning, and skills for backpacking. ORLP intermediate (Tier 2) workshops are open to those who have taken our introductory-level (Tier 1) workshops or those who are already leading trips in the outdoors.

We have a short application for these intermediate workshops and will move applicants off of the waitlist within four business days if they are accepted into the program.
